Tis The Season

First off, we had a GRREEAAATTT Thanksgiving. We celebrating with some friends and had lots of yummy food. Brian was able to go surfing in the morning, instead of playing football this year. We didnt take any pictures :( but the day was fantastic.

It has been Christmas in our house for about 3 weeks now. I didnt feel it was appropriate to post pictures until Thanksgiving was over so now that it is finally December I am going to show off my wall! I cant believe how fast this year has gone by.

Before we get into the Christmas pictures, I need to tell you what my husband has been up to this past month, besides surfing. Have you ever heard of Movember? No? Well, it is a silly tradition where men or boys who want to look like men decide they are going to grow out mustaches for the entire month. They say its to promote mens health, like the month of October is dedicated to women's health. So, Brian, who can grow a mustache in just 2 days, had a mustache for the WHLOE month. It was just great! During the first week or so we were walking out of Foodland and I came across a quarter machine that had facial hair stick ons. I took out a quarter and politely asked the machine to give me a mustache, and guess what??? I GOT IT! The plan was to take a picture with Brian with his hairy upper lip along with mine. After about 2 weeks into having his mustache, Brian grew tired of having it and told me he wanted to shave it off so we needed to take a picture soon. Hmm I thought to myself, he hates having a mustache now? Really? Now he is suffering with it and wants it off his pretty little face and wont shave it until I am willing to take a picture with him? This was just too good to be true! I came up with every excuse in the book why I couldnt take a picture and for 2 weeks I held out. It was funny how frustrated he would get and how badly he wanted to shave it. I kind of feel bad, but at the same time, I dont. I wanted to make sure he kept up his end of the deal by growing a mustache for the entire month, and thanks to me, he did!

Lookin good!

Since we were already taking pictures with our mustaches, why not take a Cholo Christmas picture?

A better version of ourselves, except Brian isnt smiling. (the cholo thing went to his head)

and just one of me putting the star on the tree...

Only 17 days til we will be home to celebrate Christmas with our families! We cant wait... hopefully we dont FRRRREEEEEZZZEEEE!

hehehe. Danny did the same thing except a handle bar. He got a whole bunch of people at his office to do it. It was pretty funny. I'll have to post pictures.

OK I was wondering why Pike had a nasty mustache in previous pictures, but now I understand. You look super good Linds, and way too skinny. How about you gain some weight!

If any lady could pull off a mustache, you could. You're just cute enough. You look darling. Your belly is so cute. And maybe I'll run into you during the break. Since I'm such a lame friend on the island. Love ya
