We all know and love the adorable, smooth talking, romantic skunk from our childhood cartoon watching days, but now that we understand what his name means, we shudder at the thought of him or anyone like him crossing our path, right?...
Two weeks ago Pike's parents, aunt, uncle, and cousin came up for a few days, one night we went to Provo for dinner at the pizza place Pike worked at. Anyways, on the way home a HUGE skunk tried to commit suicide, he ran out right in front of our car!! Luckily Pike was paying attention and was able to miss hitting him... but that wasn't the end for our dear old friend. I swear we made him angry because a few nights ago I had Pike open our windows to prevent sweating at night...well, The skunk must have been waiting for this moment, it was his moment to strike back. It was about 4 am when Pike and I were woken from a horrible smell that just kept getting worse and worse. I could barely stand it and thought I was going to vomit, but I was too tired and weak to get myself to get out of bed and go someplace else. We both would doze off here and there, but the smell just wouldn't go away! It was terrible! The next day I was really self conscience because I swore I smelled awful! And ya, thats our story... peace and love.
I dont know what is wrong with me, but I cannot get myself to fall asleep at night. I either watch movies, tv, or surf the web! haha surf! Ive always hated saying that...I like playing on the internet better! Anyways...lately I have been spending countless hours of late nights and early mornings playing...and I find some cool things here and there. Last night I found this great blog www.curbly.com. And within this blog I found this...

SO as we are sitting in front the TV watching Willow and both with are laptops in our laps, Pike says to me, "wow, we are a boring married couple" haha!
BORING PEOPLE dont do blogs... so I decided that we would enter into the blogging world, join our friends, post urber cute photos of ourselves and tell all the funny stories we can think of. Just a recap about the past month, we went on an amazing honeymoon to Ixtapa, Mexico, where we laid in the sun all day and ate as much as we could, after all, it was all inclusive. We got great tans, but sadly, I (Lindsey) lost mine already :( After the exciting honeymoon, we have moved into my parents home in Midway, UT. It is beautiful up here! Pike and I are both working, Pike paints houses in Midway/Heber, and I work at Jimmy Johns, yep, I make and deliver sandwiches!! No but really, I do... Im doing my internship with them along with my friend Missy. We are in charge are the marketing and PR of the shop in Midvale. It really is fun, we just go out and give out free sandwiches to all the business around. During Memorial weekend everyone but my little brother Doug came up for the weekend. It is always so fun having everyone together for the long weekend. We played lots of scum and ate lots of candy! And of course, my mom cooked great dinners and desserts! Then this past weekend we and another couple went to Cali for our friend Dana's wedding in Newport. We stayed with some friends down there, Pike was able to go surfing, and we just hung out and had a great time underneath the great California sky! ...well thats not entirely true, the wedding was on Friday, so we spent the day at the temple, which is beautiful, then went to Huntington and ate lunch and walked along the shops. Then attended the reception which was held in Balboa, the reception was amazing! And the bride, Dana, was stunning! All in all it was a great wedding. Now here's the sad part, so on Sat. the boys woke up early and went surfing, when they came home we turned on the TV and it just so happened that MTV was recapping this seasons Real World, next thing you know we are all suckered in and watching the dumb but yet entertaining show. We all managed to get ready, but still after 6 hrs of watching, the boys decided that they wanted to surf some more, so luckily we all got out and actually did something. That night we went out for Sushi and it was delicious!! We had a great time with everyone! Sooo...thats pretty much it for now. peace
